Ducati has resurrected their Scrambler with a new 2015 model. For the past few months, videos and photos have leaked all over the internet building plenty of hype around the release. The 2015 Ducati Scrambler was officially unveiled at Intermot 2014 in Cologne, and man does it look great! Those Italians sure know how to please our aesthetic needs. This retro multipurpose bike should appeal to a wide range of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Scrambler comes in four different models, each with its own different identity. The 2015 Ducati Scrambler Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle and Classic each comes with an 803cc air-cooled motor which was introduced to us on the Monster 796. Knowing this means it should make around 75 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque. This will be a great versatile engine for the 375 pound machine.
The new model also comes equipped with a 6 speed transmission, disc brakes, a USB charging port under the seat, an aluminum swingarm, an 18 inch front wheel, a 17 inch rear wheel and the steel of the teardrop tank and frame have been combined with front and back LED lighting. The classically designed, yet modern motorbike, even features an ultra-stylish LED light guide around the rim that acts as a side light. Pretty cool!
